Pottery Zero to Hero - We believe you can!
We often find people are really nervous when they begin potting with us (not that we are scary!) ; because we tend to work with more mature folk; people who are looking for a hobby as life changes in those tender middle years. You can feel a bit out of your comfort zone with new challenges.
Often people find they have time once kids have headed of to university or maybe deciding that a wholesome hobby will be a big help dealing with the stresses and strains of menopause or a demanding career.
We understand that it’s not easy starting a new hobby and we are really careful to make sure people feel supported and get help at their level with no pressure to be natural. The fun is in the process of learning and that is where the relaxation beings.
If you have not done any pottery before we highly recommend starting with an Introduction Day. This will give you a really good overview and a sense of our studio and how it works. You will have time to explore all the areas and see members spaces in action.
Our members have all had different journeys, and we have learnt from everyone of them. You can trust us to guide you to the fastest way to success at a rate that suits your learning style.
Once you have attended a couple of sessions we will have a better idea about what is right for you, we like to set people up for sucess so we never push you until you are ready.
We recommend spending time on the foundation step which will serve you well in the long term. You may want to explore some more of our blog to get more familiar with what we offer. Please come to one of our events in July & December where you can watch demonstrations and chat to us & our members.
And of course do drop us a line through the contacts page before if you would like some advice.
Looking forward to meeting you!
