Changes...

As you may be aware, the building we are currently based in - The Biscuit Factory - will be turning into flats later this year. So we (and the other 380 artists using the space) will need to relocate. Here is V22 artist Tara Cranswick speaking to the BBC on the subject.So although it will be sad to leave our little studio where it all started, we're very excited about finding somewhere new - and bigger and better! It was beginning to feel like we had outgrown the space - I don't want to have to turn people away from fully booked classes and workshops and I don't want such a long waiting list for permanent artists' space. This move will allow us to provide more permanent spaces for artists and more spots in our classes and workshops. I also want to use this change to create a co-operative studio which supports the members and artists using the space and increases the opportunities available to them.We're looking into new spaces at the moment, the possibility of crowd funding, and working on a plan to create a studio which fully meets the needs of its members. It's an exciting time!
