She has been preparing for her latest exhibition. The piece includes a performer who wares a lampshade and moves around the un-fired terracotta lamps that Caro has been madly making.She manipulates discarded and found objects using performance or audience participation to add new dimensions to them. In this way she asks us to question our received understanding of these objects. Documentation of the intervention itself becomes material for subsequent artworks.It s been great having her in the studio, her energy knows no bounds! Good luck tonight Caro x
