What would be nicer than making your own mug to have that first morning mug of coffee from or that warming hot chocolate; wrapping your hands around a mug that you know you have made and how you constructed it; drinks just always seem to taste better in your own mug, or could you make that special gift of a mug for someone, personalise it, include a special message.

This project is aimed for the beginner and those developing their skills. It takes about 15 minutes to prepare and 1 to 2 hours to complete.

You will learn how to rolling, cut and join clay, follow a pattern, use of slurry, decorative techniques using slip and finishing skills.

Included:

A rolling set, potters knife, work board, sponge, rubber kidney and paint brushes.

(Please note the knife is sharp and young children would require supervision when using it)
